Citizen Cider Pressing Facility
Budget: $2 Million
Location: Burlington, VT
Architects: SAS Architects
Scope: LN Consulting completed the design and construction administration for the Citizen Cider Pressing Facility. This facility is a 20,000 sq. ft. office/manufacturing building. The project utilized air-to-air heat pumps with integral energy recovery for space conditioning, ventilating, and dehumidification. A central Chilled water plant supported the cold storage and cider tank storage for the facility.
LN Consulting was responsible for integrating the pressing facility's equipment with the building infrastructure which included modifying and commissioning the equipment. Specialized air and waste filtration were implemented into the design in order to capture the waste apple pomace during grinding and pressing. The proposed infrastructure was designed to accommodate future production capacity.
