YMCA Greater Burlington

Scope: LN Consulting completed the MEP design for the construction of the new 52,000 sq. ft. YMCA located on College Street in Burlington, VT. The facility consisted of fitness and aquatics space including (2) pools, a full-sized gym, an indoor track, and a workout space. 

The facility included energy recovery systems, dehumidification systems, and water source heat pumps that allowed for the ability to transfer energy between various program spaces that required heating and cooling resulting in a significant reduction in electrical energy as well as fossil fuel usage. The lighting design included natural light coupled with high-efficiency LED lighting throughout.
