Scope: LN Consulting completed the mechanical and electrical design for the Canton Potsdam Cancer Center Project. The scope of the project included a 10,000 sq. ft. addition to the existing hospital. The addition supports the hospital’s Radiation/Oncology program and included a CT Scanner and Linear Accelerator. 

The project HVAC systems included a closed-loop geothermal heat pump system and high-efficiency energy-recovery unit for the distribution of ventilation air within the occupied spaces. The ventilation system was configured with a demand control sequence of operation. The lighting design included occupancy sensor controls and natural daylighting.
