Colgate University – Chapel House

Scope: LN Consulting completed the MEP design and construction administration for the renovation of the existing 9,500 sq. ft. chapel house at Colgate University. The program includes a dining room, music room, living quarters and library space. 

The renovation included the replacement of the existing HVAC system with a closed-loop geothermal system for heating and cooling, energy recovery for building ventilation, a new direct digital control system, as well as improved building lighting and daylighting. A building energy model was utilized to fine-tune the mechanical and geothermal design.
