CP Smith School Renovation

L.N. Consulting completed the design for the renovations of a kindergarten through fourth grade school in Burlington, VT. The scope of the project included a complete building renovation and envelope upgrade. The building is approximately 38,000 sq.ft. composed of a single story. Our project design included; natural light features to create natural light balance in almost all areas of the existing school, geothermal air conditioning, high energy efficient energy recovery ventilation systems with demand control ventilation, super efficient lighting design that includes day light controls, envelope analysis to develop a cost effective/highly efficient building skin, economizer ventilation selection, and detailed mechanical control systems to minimize energy usage through active means.
