L.N. Consulting completed the design for the construction of the Jay Peak Resort Expansion Project Ice Rink and Water Park energy systems integration.
The project included the interconnection of the Ice Rink and Water Park mechanical systems in order to facilitate the utilization of the Ice Rink refrigeration system waste heat as a method for heating the Water Park.
In addition, L.N. Consulting completed the design of a 36.0 MMBH high efficiency boiler plant to support the water park and hotel infrastructure.
The heating plant included dual fuel burners for future compressed bio-methane fuel integration.
L.N. Consulting designed the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for the construction of the Jay Peak Resort Hotel II Project.
The Jay Peak Hotel II Project includes a five story structure consisting of approximately 152,000 sq. ft.
The building program includes commercial/retail space, conference center, restaurant, bar, exercise room, spa, ski school space, and 170 guest units.
The guest units consist of studio, one bedroom, two bedroom, and three bedroom units.
The HVAC system is a water source heat pump system that includes energy recovery ventilators configured as a variable volume system with CO2 monitoring for ventilation air flow controls.
